Your Fire Chief

Good day, and welcome to our website!

I want to invite you to surf this site for information about our agency and answer any questions you may have. Most importantly to me is for you to see how the women and men of FRFR serve the citizens and visitors of our district. While Front Range Fire Rescue is a "new" entity, the history behind FRFR spans well over 100 years. In that century, much has changed. Our equipment, our facilities, and our tactics have evolved. The population has grown exponentially. What hasn't changed is the commitment to service by our members. They continue to serve with Courage, Compassion, and Professionalism. I am so very proud of the work that they do every day.

As your fire chief, I am here to assure you that we handle every emergency as quickly and efficiently as possible. We strive to deliver that service in a fiscally responsible manner. Beyond that, my goal is to prevent crises from happening in the first place as much as is possible. And last, when emergencies do occur, we strive to reduce injuries and destruction through public education and the reduction of risk in our community. If you ever have suggestions on how we can serve you better, please let me know. Thank you!

Yours in service,

J. Michael West
