Accessibility Statement

Front Range Fire Rescue Fire Protection District is committed to providing equitable access to our services to all Coloradans.

Our ongoing accessibility effort works towards being in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, level AA criteria. These guidelines not only help make technology accessible to users with sensory, cognitive and mobility disabilities, but ultimately to all users, regardless of ability.

Our efforts are just part of a meaningful change in making all State of Colorado services inclusive and accessible. We welcome comments on how to improve our technology’s accessibility for users with disabilities and for requests for accommodations to any State of Colorado services.

Accessibility Compliance

FRFR is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and channels of communication to all members of the public. The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. FRFR is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level A.

Compliance Procedures and Reports

In addition to annual testing with users with a wide range of disabilities and coding our website to WCAG standards, ACME Fire Districts regularly scans its website to ensure ongoing compliance, and makes timely changes to any inaccessible changes, if any are found. In our ongoing commitment to transparency, we make these reports available to the public.
