On October 11th, Zack Kirchner was promoted to Battalion Chief at Front Range Fire Rescue. Zack has been with our department since 2009, recently serving as a Lieutenant at Station 1 in Johnstown.
FRFR uses an extensive assessment center process to select individuals for promotions. Additionally, our members must obtain higher-level certifications and college degrees commensurate with their new position. Zack has a huge responsibility, not only because of this increased rank but, more importantly, to lead our fire district into an exciting future filled with growth and challenges. Congratulations!
