This week, we celebrate our fellow first responders, Weld County Regional Communications Center Dispatchers, during National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week. Front Range Fire Rescue (FRFR) has always understood that our dispatchers are unsung heroes who are truly the "first, first responders" on an incident. Last month, Colorado became the 20th state in the U.S. to recognize dispatchers officially as first responders. It's great to see them get this distinction, which is long overdue. FRFR Deputy Chief Nat Kronholm took several bags of treats to the communications center this morning to help celebrate the week!
