Congratulations to Firefighter Covillo

Front Range Fire Rescue Authority announces the hiring of Roosevelt High School alum Connor Covillo. Firefighter Covillo began full-time on June 21, 2017, at Station 1 in Johnstown. Prior to that, he has served as a reserve firefighter since graduating from Roosevelt High School in 2015.

Firefighter Covillo moved up to Johnstown when he was seven-years-old and has remained part of the Johnstown Community ever since.

Front Range Fire Rescue Authority is pleased to announce that Firefighter Boor has successfully completed his probationary period. He now serves as a Reservist for FRFRA.

Front Range Fire Rescue Authority is pleased to announce that Firefighter Nieto has successfully completed his probationary period. He now serves as a Reservist for FRFRA.

Tyler Drage Appointed Life Safety Chief/Fire Marshal

Front Range Fire Rescue Authority is pleased to announce the appointment of Tyler Drage as FRFRA’s new Life Safety Chief/Fire Marshal effective Monday, March 6, 2017. The Life Safety Chief/Fire Marshal combines the traditional duties of Fire Marshal with additional responsibilities in community and life safety education, community engagement and emergency preparedness.

Welcome New Board Members!

On September 14, 2016, the Milliken Fire Protection Board appointed Buddy Prather as the new Treasurer. In addition, Reid Hobler was appointed to fill the vacant seat on the board, when Lea Weinkauf former MFPD board treasurer resigned in August. Both members will also serve on the Front Range Fire Rescue Authority Board.

Front Range Fire Rescue Authority Raise Funds for MDA

Front Range Fire Authority Firefighters braved traffic Labor Day Weekend and collected over $5,700 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association during their annual Fill the Boot fundraising campaign.

Thank you to all the incredibly generous Johnstown and Milliken community members who dropped change and folding money into the firefighters’ Fill the Boot campaign!

The devotion of firefighters with the cause of MDA has emerged as a strong example of selflessness, and we are very proud of their hard work and dedication.

Congratulations to Engineer Neil Ferrell

Engineer Ferrell was sworn in as Engineer on August 10th, in the presence of his family, the Authority members, and the board of directors. The Authority is incredibly grateful for his willingness to serve in a new capacity. Engineer Neil Ferrell was joined by his wife, Stephanie, and two kids after being promoted to Engineer with the Authority.

Congratulations to Lieutenant Linder!

Lieutenant Linder was sworn into office on July 13th, in the presence of his family, the Authority members, and the board of directors. The Authority is incredibly grateful for his willingness to serve in a new capacity.

Newest Authority Reservist

Firefighters Covillo, Baker, Unrein, and Lanier were sworn in on July 13th, after successfully completing their probationary period. These four rockstar reservists are not only serving the FRFRA, but other agencies in Northern Colorado as well.

Congratulations to our New Firefighters

Front Range Fire Rescue Authority has hired three of its Reservists in a full-time capacity in the past few months. We haven’t added staff, but replaced other members who have pursued new avenues.
