On May 11, 2016 the following board members were sworn in to serve Front Range Fire Rescue Authority:
Director Roger Ainsworth was recognized for more than 5 years of incredible service to the FRFRA and the MFPD on Wednesday night, May 11 2016.
Director Bill Elder and his wife, Dorothy, are recognized for eight years of incredibly important service to the citizens of the MFPD and the FRFRA, including three years as Board President.
New I.S.O. (Insurance Services Office) rating for the Front Range Fire Rescue Authority is a 03/3Y.
I.S.O. rates and publishes Public Protection Classification (P.P.C.) for communities and fire departments. Many insurance companies use this P.P.C. and/or information to determine insurance rates for residential and commercial properties.
I.S.O Rating Summary
Class 3: This rating applies to properties within five (5) road miles of a fire station and within 1,000 feet of a fire hydrant or approved, alternate water supply.
Front Range Fire Rescue Authority would like to announce the hiring of two new full-time firefighters, Daniel Skoglund and Bryan Leto, both to begin January 1, 2016. The recent mill levy which was passed by voters allowed an increase in staffing which will immediately improve our career staffing levels for our growing community.
Front Range Fire Authority Firefighters braved traffic Labor Day Weekend and collected over $7,400 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association in their annual Fill the Boot fundraising campaign. Thanks to all the incredibly generous Johnstown and Milliken community members who dropped change and folding money into the firefighters’ Fill the Boot campaign!
The devotion of firefighters with the cause of MDA has emerged as a strong example of selflessness, and we are very proud of their hard work and dedication.
